World Leading Marine Safety System

With the Oceans Protection Plan, the first priority is to create a world-leading marine safety system. This means improving how we prevent and respond to marine pollution incidents. It includes developing emergency response plans tailored to local needs, increasing on-water presence and response capacity, and expanding the role of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
